Box Frame: Vintage Car Badges
This set of six vintage car badges is box framed using a deep moulding profile in poplar wood. The arrangement of the badges was chosen in consultation with our client. The frame is hand finished and painted using De Nimes from Farrow & Ball.
The badges are feather floated onto a backing board painted to match the frame, as are the 30mm hand cut spacers. The frame is glazed with 2mm float glass. The poplar moulding is a flat 20 x 48mm profile and the overall size of this frame is 450 x 410mm.
