Clay, cardboard, paper and paint.
Two small painted figures enclosed in a paper lined cardboard box. This was incorporated into a conservation glazed box frame with a stepped extended base and shaped top. The idea was to invoke both a shrine and, given the depiction of the figures, a stage.
The frame is in poplar wood painted with Farrow & Ball Studio Green. For the sides and the inside of the aperture Rectory Red was used. The work can be hung on a wall or placed on a surface.
The measurements are: 245mm tall by 200mm wide, and the depth is 80mm.
