A hand finished composite tray frame in birch ply and poplar painted with Verre de Terre from the Farrow & Ball range of colours.
The painting has been set inside a window cut 9mm plywood panel with a surrounding 15 x 32mm poplar wood frame. Window cutting the plywood panel, rather than cutting and joining plywood strips, eliminates the possibility of cracks appearing at the corners of the inner tray frame.
This frame is 260 x 310mm in size.
