Anniversary Plate

For this centenary plate depicting a Welsh school, the client requested that both sides of the plate should be visible. The frame is lined with custom cut 6mm MDF strips which act as a spacers and also hold the plate in position. The spacer, plus the frame itself, has been hand painted in white 'buttermilk' emulsion. The frame is glazed with Water White glass and the overall size is 245 x 250 x 48mm.
