The panel is mounted on painted plywood with matching plywood spacers. The moulding used here is a curved obeche, 70 x 30 mm, stained a warm grey. The wood was then sealed, waxed and polished to a fine sheen. This frame has been glazed with anti-reflective glass which allows the fine detail in the work to be viewed without distracting reflections. The frame measures 840 x 620 mm.
