Screenprints by Maggi Hambling
Three screen prints by Maggi Hambling, all presented in Box Frames. The Derek Jarman has been floated on a dark grey Conservation board with matching 10mm deep hand cut spacers. The moulding is in Tulipwood, hand painted in Farrow & Ball's Downpipe. The profile measures 35 x 25mm and the overall size of the frame is 865 x 640 mm.
The George Melly Singing and Stephen Fry Musing prints are also in Tulipwood, the profile used for these being 20 x 35mm. These two frames are hand finished with a white stain and Limewax, both prints are float mounted on an off-white Conservation board with 12mm deep acid free paper covered Obeche spacers. Both frames measure 715 x 595mm overall.
