An energetic etching and aquatint, one of a series of wave prints by Maggi Hambling.
This print has been box framed in 13 x 37mm poplar. It is hand finished and painted using Farrow & Ball's Off-Black. This near black is very effective in bringing out the rich, deep blacks in the print.
The etching has been float mounted on Off-White conservation board, and the frame is fitted with 15mm hand cut matching spacers. This frame has been glazed with anti-reflective, UV glass.
The frame measures 355 x 605mm overall.
