A double portrait of the former German Chancellor. This print was backed with acid-free mountboard following the proportions of the paper and placed directly into a bespoke box frame.
We used a 13 x 25mm flat poplar wood profile which was custom made in the studio. The frame was hand painted using Pavilion Gray by Farrow & Ball. The frame was fitted with hand cut 10mm spacers in conservation board and glazed with AR/UV glass. The frame is backed with acid-free water resistant board and measures 315 x 530mm overall.
