Five Birch Trees
2014 Cyanotype on Arches Platine Edition of 10 © Karen Colley 2014 This photograph, with its characteristic blue tones, is a cyanotype. It has been window mounted and framed in a 15 x 32mm poplar moulding. This was hand painted with Skylight by Farrow & Ball.
The mount is conservation grade and the glazing is in 2mm anti-reflective glass with a UV filter to help protect the print from light damage. The size of the frame is 317 x 372 mm. |
Five Birch Trees
2014 Salt Print on Arches Platine Edition of 25 © Karen Colley 2014 This is a salt print, a photographic technique pioneered in the Nineteenth century, printed by the artist. The image is 150 x 215mm and it is framed in a 15 x 32mm solid maple moulding.
The conservation window mount has a slight pink tone which works well with both the print and the natural colour of the maple. The frame is glazed with AR/UV 99 glass. This frame is 360 x 400mm in size. |
