A painting on panel enclosed in a tray frame using a gently sloping 60 x 20mm moulding in obeche.
This frame was hand stained using a custom mixed grey brown. The wood was then sealed, waxed and polished to a fine sheen. The frame was lined with 6 x12mm wood spacers painted with Railings by Farrow & Ball. The panel itself was also cradled with wood batons, then fixed onto a 3mm MDF backing which was painted in the same colour as the spacers.
This frame measures 735mm square.
