Art Deco Box
A vintage card box, c.1920's, in black with gilt edges featuring a tennis player. The box has been float mounted on ivory coloured conservation board with matching 40mm deep hand cut spacers within a box frame.
The frame was constructed using a 22 x 48mm profile in poplar wood. This was hand finished and then stained a deep red brown. The frame was then sealed, waxed and hand polished. The overall size is 340 x 340mm in size and the frame is deep enough to be displayed free standing if desired.
