Two 18th Century Delft Tiles
Two antique tiles in hand painted box frames mounted on painted plywood with matching plywood spacers, both in a private collection. The colour for the interiors of both frames is Farrow & Ball's Stony Ground. The frame housing the manganese tile is painted in Pelt and the blue tile is in Stiffkey Blue.
The moulding used for both is a 13 x 37mm in poplar wood and both are glazed with AR/UV 70 glass which has an anti-reflective coating.
