31 Fournier Street, Spitalfields
Possible Frame was the 'House framer' for 31 Fournier Street, only a few minutes' walk from our studio in Princelet Street. This splendid house, which dates from 1726, was owned by actor and writer Rodney Archer who lived there until his death in 2015.
Parts of the house were formerly open to the public and this included a changing set of framed works hanging on the Staircase Gallery. The slideshow illustrates the house, the Gallery area, the Oscar Wilde Room along with some of the frames we made. The former curator of the house, Trevor Newton, has his own website featuring his drawings.
